Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Credit Officer for Credit Cards and Personal Loans to evaluate and render credit decisions in line with approved policies. You will handle initiation, underwriting, and limit increase requests while ensuring SLA adherence.

The role requires a solid background in credit evaluation, two years of related experience, and strong stakeholder management. Proficiency in MS Office and credit systems is expected.

Qualifications

Job description

The Credit Officer for Credit Cards is primarily responsible for evaluation and rendering decisions on new applications for Credit Card and Personal Loan as well as requests for Increase in Credit Limit in compliance with the approved credit policies and guidelines on granting a facility.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Service Delivery Management – Ensures that credit initiation and underwriting meet the service level targets
• Booking of Quality Accounts – Assures that underwritten accounts are within the PDO and RAM benchmarks
• Productivity – Ensures that individual quota is met
• Audit and Compliance – Ensures that credit practices are within the standards of internal and external regulations
• Special Projects – Recommends or supports credit projects and initiatives to improve turn-around time and reduce operational costs
• Quality Management – Maintains industry level of quality in credit operation processes and commitment to agreed service levels through process assessment, diagnosis, reengineering, and monitoring of execution leading to enhanced efficiency
• Vendor Management – Assists the Department Head on the selection, accreditation, contract negotiations and onboarding of third-party vendor for Credit Risk Operations as well as manages relationship, compliance to service agreement, performance evaluation, and ensures payment to the services
• Budget Management – Coordinates with the financial business partner of Unsecured Lending and Cards Group on budget and manpower concerns
