Overview
The Credit Investigator Assistant supports the credit investigation team in assessing and verifying the creditworthiness of individuals or organizations. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and organizing financial data, conducting background checks, and assisting in the preparation of detailed reports for decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Gather financial and personal information from a variety of sources, including credit bureaus, public records, and financial institutions, to verify the accuracy of credit applications.
- Assist in performing background checks on applicants, including reviewing credit histories, employment records, and any legal or financial issues that may affect creditworthiness.
- Report Preparation: Prepare reports based on investigation findings, highlighting potential risks, inconsistencies, or issues found in the credit application process.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately enter investigation data into systems, ensuring proper documentation for future reference and auditing purposes.
- Communication: Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to gather additional information or clarify details during the investigation process.
- Compliance: Ensure all investigations comply with relevant laws and regulations, including privacy laws, credit reporting regulations, and financial industry standards.
- Provide administrative and research support to senior credit investigators, assisting with complex investigations as needed.
Qualifications
- ABLE TO HANDLE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES EFFECTIVELY
- COMPUTER LITERATE
- WITH COLLECTION EXPERIENCE
- HONEST
- A GRADUATE OF ANY 4-YEAR COURSE
- RELEVANT DOCUMENTS: TOR, RESUME, APPLICATION LETTER
- WITH DRIVERS LICENSE
