Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a credit research professional to conduct in-depth fundamental credit analysis on corporate issuers, NBFCs, banks and structured issuers. The role includes reviewing financials, debt structures, management quality and sector positioning to assess credit risk.

You will develop and maintain credit models, monitor ratings, and prepare investment memos for portfolio managers and the investment committee to inform bond and credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Perform fundamental credit analysis on corporate issuers, NBFCs, banks and structured issuers, reviewing financial statements and debt structures.
• Assess creditworthiness across sectors and identify risks and opportunities in debt markets.
• Develop and maintain credit models, projections and scenario analyses to assess leverage and covenant compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit research reports, memos and risk assessments for portfolio managers and investment committee.
• Support trading in evaluation of new debt instruments and secondary market trades with timely credit opinions.
• Monitor ratings, actions, and credit outlooks and alert team to material developments.
