CREATOR & AFFILIATE PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER (FITNESS, DTC)
Remote: Philippines or Latin AmericaFull-time
$2,000-3,500 USD/month depending on your level of experience
Coaches and athletes who actually train with the gear can give customers a reason to trust it. We want more of those people showing what Fringe can do. We’ve been slow to build this channel, and you’ll help us get it moving.
You know the difference between getting views and earning trust. You’ll find the right creators, start a real conversation, and turn that first connection into a working partnership. Remember the details, follow up when you said you would, and make sure we deliver on our side. That’s how we become a brand creators want to keep working with.
About Fringe Sport
Fringe Sport makes strength equipment for home and garage gyms. We're based in Austin, Texas, with a lean team spread across the US, the Philippines and beyond. We care about four things: Winning Team, Customer Focus, Product Passion, Results. We move fast, faster than most people expect when they join.
Why this role exists
We don't want a giant creator database or hundreds of templated DMs. We want the right creators, coaches and athletes, real relationships with them, and a program that runs so cleanly they actually like working with us. Some will review our gear. More and more will make our ads: our Creative Strategist writes the brief, you get it to the right people, and the videos come back. Most are paid on commission from the ads we run and the sales they drive, not flat fees.
What you'll own
Building the roster
- Find and qualify creators, affiliates, coaches and athletes. Fit and trust matter more than follower count.
- Reach out personally, in your own words, not with a template
- Onboard new partners: product, codes, expectations, how we work
- Decide which relationships to deepen, keep warm, or let go
Creator-made ads
- Match briefs from our Creative Strategist to the creators best placed to deliver them
- Make sure ads come back on time, in the formats we need, with usage permission sorted
- Track which creators and formats are working, and tell the Strategist
Launches and placements
- Line up the right creators for product launches and get product to them on time
- Make sure they have accurate product info and know what we're hoping for
- Turn one-time seeding into ongoing relationships where it makes sense
Running the program
- Affiliate codes, links, tracking and commissions. Boring and correct is the goal.
- Payout info to Finance, accurate and on time
- Clear internal standards for what we give and what we ask for. We don't do heavy contracts; you make the asks directly, like a normal conversation.
- Simple SOPs so nothing lives only in your DMs
- Pull out what creators and their audiences keep saying (questions, objections, what lands) and share it with our marketing team regularly
What a typical week looks like
- Monday: check which creator ads are due and chase anything slipping
- A few hours of real conversations: new creators, existing partners, launch planning
- A briefing session with the Creative Strategist on what we need next
- Shipping product, sorting codes and updating tracking (with AI doing most of the admin)
- Coordinate conversations and follow-ups around creators’ and affiliates’ availability, keeping partnerships moving and delivering on the commitments you make.
- End of week: a short note to the team on what creators and audiences are saying
Who you'll work with
Our Content & Creative Strategist (briefs and creative direction), our marketing operations lead (calendar and launches), Product (accurate info, and the feedback you bring back), Finance (payouts), and our CEO, who cares a lot about this channel.
Tools
Instagram, TikTok and YouTube; our affiliate platform [TBC]; Shopify; Asana; Slack; Google Workspace; and AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for research, tracking and admin. We'll train you on anything that's specific to us.
How we'll measure success
Not by how many DMs you send or how big the roster gets. We look at meaningful creator placements, how many creators stay actively engaged, whether codes, tracking and payouts are accurate, and whether creators are ready on time for launches.
Your first 90 days
- 30: You know our products, you've talked to real customers, and first conversations with creators are going.
- 60: First creators onboarded, product shipped, first creator-made ads in.
- 90: A core group of creators posting and making ads regularly, plus a simple system so nobody falls through the cracks.
You're probably a fit if you
- Get energy from people, and remember the details about them
- Follow up without being reminded and do what you said you'd do
- Can manage lots of relationships at once without dropping any
- Will push your own team for what a creator needs
- Can tell a one-off comment from a real pattern
- Use AI for the admin so you have more time for people
- Write and speak excellent English
- Experience with creators, influencers, affiliates or partnerships, especially in fitness, DTC or an enthusiast community
- You train, or you know the strength and garage-gym world
- You've worked with commission-based creator ads before
- Relationship skill counts for more than having had this exact title.
Probably not for you if you
- Want a strict 9-to-5. When a creator DMs at 7pm, they hear back that night.
- Want to be the creator, or need the credit
- Need every step spelled out
What we offer
- $2,000-3,500 USD/month depending on your level of experience, and may include a performance-based bonus
- Availability to collaborate with our team during U.S. Central Time business hours.
- Product training, and time with our customer support team so you know the gear and the customers
- A channel to build almost from scratch, with direct access to leadership
Work arrangement
Remote in the Philippines or Latin America, with a full US Central workday. Philippines-based candidates should expect overnight hours.
