StaffOutsourcing Solutions is seeking an operationally rigorous Creative Project Manager to oversee our publishing production team in Cebu. You will manage daily workflows, evaluate talent, and ensure quality control for design deliverables, while serving as the main liaison to US-based clients.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in project/creative operations within publishing, strong Adobe CC skills, and experience using PM tools.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of project management, account management, or creative operations experience in publishing or related fields.
• Experience with book publication workflows including interior formatting and cover design.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and modern PM software (Asana, Trello, Jira).
• Ability to track KPIs, report to executives, and manage capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact between design delivery teams and US client management/authors and drive account performance.
• Oversee end-to-end design pipelines for book covers, interiors, and illustrations with a >98% on-time submission rate.
• Audit styles, pagination, and print-ready prep; ensure file compatibility for KDP and IngramSpark.
• Review concepts and sketches to align assets with manuscript requirements and reduce revisions.
• Conduct pre-submission reviews to prevent layout errors and missed guidelines.
• Monitor daily productivity and generate SLA dashboards; collaborate with HR on headcount and performance improvements.

StaffOutsourcing Solutions is seeking an operationally rigorous and creative Creative Project Manager to oversee our dedicated publishing production industry. Based onsite at our Cebu Business Park facility, this role bridges creative oversight and operations management: leading daily production workflows, talent evaluation, and quality assurance for a specialized team consisting of creative designers while serving as the primary delivery liaison to US-based publishing stakeholders and clients.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced publishing environment, possesses functional or supervisory experience across visual arts (illustration, typography, graphic design), and brings a proven track record of enforcing strict SLA compliance, turnaround times, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Serve as the main contact point between SOS design delivery teams and US client management/authors. Conduct regular progress syncs, report operational health, and drive overall account performance.

• Oversee end-to-end design pipelines across book cover design, interior page formatting, and custom digital illustrations. Maintain a > 98% on-time submission rate across all project deliverables.

• Team Workflow & Technical Oversight:

  • Audit character/paragraph styles, baseline grids, table of contents, pagination, and print-ready preparation managed by a team of creatives.

  • Oversee spine calculations, bleed/trim requirements, and technical file compatibility for platforms like KDP and IngramSpark managed by a team of creatives.

  • Review concept and sketch phases prior to final rendering to align asset styles with manuscript requirements and reduce revision rework rates for a team of creatives.

• Conduct mandatory pre-submission reviews on design files to eliminate layout errors, improper bleeds, or missed author brief guidelines before client review.

• Track daily team productivity, generate weekly/monthly SLA compliance dashboards, establish Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for underperforming metrics, and manage headcount strategy with HR.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of proven project management, account management, or creative operations experience within a BPO, publishing house, digital agency, or creative production hub.

• Demonstrable understanding of book publication workflows, including interior formatting, cover composition, prepress setup, and digital illustration.

• High fluency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and modern project management software (Asana, ClickUp, Trello, or Jira).

• Proven capacity to track team KPIs, evaluate capacity, and deliver timely performance reports to executive leadership.

• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with demonstrated experience managing US-based client expectations and leading operational turnarounds.

• Fully available to work onsite on a full-time Night Shift schedule at our Cebu Business Park office.
