Qualifications

• A relevant qualification or comparable education in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, Business, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant marketing, communications, or social media experience.
• Hands-on experience creating social media content, writing captions, and scheduling posts.
• Experience managing and organising a social media content calendar.
• Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Demonstrated experience creating digital content using Canva.
• Basic video editing skills.
• Strong written communication, proofreading, and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify relevant trends and turn them into suitable content ideas.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• A proactive and creative approach, with the confidence to recommend and implement ideas independently.

Responsibilities

• Suggest relevant content ideas based on current trends, audience interests, organisational priorities, and upcoming activities.
• Translate trends and business topics into practical and engaging content opportunities.
• Write clear, engaging, and platform-appropriate captions.
• Create, prepare, or source suitable images, graphics, and other visual assets.
• Adapt content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Schedule and publish approved content across social media platforms.
• Ensure all content is accurate, professional, engaging, on-brand, and appropriate for the intended audience.
• Manage and maintain an organised social media content calendar.
• Plan, create, and schedule content at least one week in advance.
• Coordinate content reviews and approvals with relevant stakeholders.
• Track upcoming campaigns, events, announcements, and key dates.
• Maintain an organised library of copy, images, videos, templates, and other marketing assets.
• Proactively identify content gaps and recommend new content or campaign ideas.
• Assist with the promotion and delivery of events, campaigns, programs, and partnerships.
• Prepare marketing materials and social media content before, during, and after events.
• Capture or coordinate event photos and video content when required.
• Provide general and ad hoc marketing support to the management team.
• Undertake other reasonable marketing duties as required.
