We're looking for a Creative Designer (Static and Motion) to own design output across static and motion assets for a fast-growing video production company. You will create high-quality visual assets including graphics, thumbnails, social media content, and motion graphics that match the creative standard a video-first brand demands. Design is the primary focus. Motion is a strong plus.
This is a role for someone with a genuinely strong creative eye, not just technical execution skills. The company produces video at a high level and needs a designer who understands how good design works in a video and motion context — pacing, hierarchy, visual storytelling — even if motion design is not their primary specialty. If you have a strong static design portfolio, a real understanding of how design and motion interact, and can produce polished, high-quality creative across multiple formats independently, this role is a strong fit.
Why You'll Want to Join
- You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)
- Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy
- Observance of Holidays per company guidelines
- 100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive
- This role requires availability during US business hours
- Work inside a fast-growing video production company with high creative standards and a strong visual identity
- High-ownership design role with real creative variety across formats and projects
What You'll Work On
Static Design and Visual Assets
- Design high-quality static assets including thumbnails, social media graphics, presentation decks, brand collateral, and other visual deliverables
- Work within and across brand systems while bringing genuine creative judgment to every brief
- Produce assets that are polished, on-brand, and built to perform across digital platforms
- Resize and adapt assets across formats and placements efficiently and accurately
Motion and Video-Adjacent Design
- Create motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, transitions, and other video-adjacent design elements
- Collaborate with the video production team to ensure design assets integrate seamlessly into video output
- Bring an understanding of pacing, timing, and visual hierarchy in a motion context even when working primarily on static deliverables
- Iterate on motion work based on feedback from the production team
Creative Ideation and Collaboration
- Contribute creative ideas and visual concepts at the brief stage rather than only executing what is handed to you
- Collaborate closely with video producers, editors, and creative leads to align design output with production goals
- Bring a strong visual point of view to every project while remaining receptive to feedback and direction
Asset Management and Delivery
- Organize and maintain project files and finished assets with clean structure and version control
- Deliver finished assets in the correct formats and specifications for each use case
- Communicate proactively on timelines and flag any brief gaps before they delay delivery
What You Bring
- Proven creative design experience with a strong portfolio showing finished work across static formats including thumbnails, social graphics, brand assets, and digital content
- Genuine understanding of how design works in a video and motion context including visual hierarchy, pacing, and storytelling
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
- Strong creative eye with the ability to produce visually distinctive work rather than templated output
- Comfortable working within brand systems while bringing independent creative judgment to each project
- Organized and reliable with consistent on-time delivery across concurrent projects
- Clear communicator who flags issues early and incorporates feedback without friction
Nice to Have
- Hands-on motion graphics experience including animated titles, lower thirds, and video-integrated design elements
- Experience designing for a video production company, media brand, or content-first creative team
- Familiarity with Figma or other design collaboration tools
- Background in YouTube thumbnail design or social video creative
If you are a genuinely strong creative designer who understands how design works in a video and motion context and wants to own visual output for a fast-growing video production company, this role gives you the creative variety and the direct impact to do your best work.
