Job summary

The University of the Philippines-Diliman seeks an Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical facilities across Palma Hall Complex, including the Main Building, Pavilions, Lagmay Hall and Silangang Palma.

Duties include setting up wiring and extensions, ensuring safety during events, and assisting with repairs of pumps, aircons, and fans. The role also covers preventive maintenance, responding to job requests, preparing work estimates, and other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical facilities in Palma Hall Complex; replace damaged wires, outlets, fuses, panel boards, circuit breakers, switches, bulbs, and lighting fixtures.
• Set up electrical connections and wiring, provide extensions, and ensure facilities are safe to use during programs/activities in the unit's areas.
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of non-functioning electrical equipment (water pump, aircon units, ceiling fans, electric fans, and electrical supply).
• Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance works.
• Attend to job requests and preparation of work estimates.
• To do other tasks that may be assigned by higher supervisors.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical facilities in Palma Hall Complex (Main building, Pavilions, Lagmay Hall and Silangang Palma) - replace damaged wires, outlets, fuse, panel board, circuit breaker, switches, bulb, busted lighting fixtures, starter, etc.




• Set up/install electrical connections, wiring, provide extensions and ensure that electrical facilities are safe to use during programs/activities held in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Unit.




• Assist in the repair and maintenance of non-functioning electrical equipment (water pump, aircon units, ceiling fans, electric fans and electrical supply).




• Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance works.




• Attend to job requests and preparation of work estimates.




• To do other tasks that may be assigned by higher supervisors.
