Job Summary:
Responsible for performing basic electrical maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and minor repairs within the dormitory or facility. Ensures that electrical fixtures, outlets, lighting, and other basic electrical systems are functioning safely and properly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic electrical inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

• Repair or replace light bulbs, switches, outlets, fixtures, and other minor electrical components.

• Check and address basic electrical problems such as loose connections, faulty switches, and lighting issues.

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of basic electrical fixtures and equipment.

• Conduct routine checks of electrical outlets, lighting systems, extension cords, and other electrical fixtures.

• Report major electrical faults, unsafe conditions, or problems requiring specialized work to the supervisor or qualified electrician.

• Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Follow electrical safety procedures and proper safety practices at all times.

• Keep records of completed repairs and maintenance work when required.

• Assist contractors or licensed electricians during major electrical repairs or installations.

• Perform other maintenance and utility duties as assigned.
