Job summary

Asian Terminals Incorporated in Manila seeks an Automation Specialist to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain crane control systems. You will work on PLCs, drives, and motion control on STS and RTG cranes, ensuring safety and uptime.

The role requires 7+ years in electrical/automation maintenance, with experience in PLCs, HMI, Ethernet networks, and crane brands. Strong documentation and training abilities are essential.

Qualifications

Graduate of Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation.
At least 7 years' experience in electrical/automation maintenance.
Knowledge of PLC, drives, fiber optic networks and industrial communications.

Responsibilities

Diagnose faults and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Interpret/modify PLC logic and HMI screens for optimization and safety.
Calibrate sensors, encoders, inverters and related drive systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and drive parameter tuning.
Coordinate with OEMs for updates and technical support.
Assist in commissioning cranes or major control upgrades.
Document PLC programs, drive configs, wiring diagrams, fault logs.
Train maintenance staff on control systems and electrical safety.
