Job summary

nVent seeks a CPQ Developer Team Lead to drive development and continuous improvement of Tacton CPQ models while guiding a local team. You will oversee end-to-end CPQ model lifecycles from planning to deployment and user support, ensuring quality and alignment with business needs.

The role combines hands-on problem solving with leadership, requiring strong English communication and collaboration across stakeholders, product owners, and technical admins in a dynamic global organization.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Higher Education in IT or Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of software development experience with CPQ or similar platforms.
• At least 2 years in a team coordinator role.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Local CPQ Developers to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.
• Oversee the creation, modification, and maintenance of product models within the product configurator (Tacton CPQ).
• Plan and prioritize development tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Participate in and guide the testing, debugging, and deployment of product models to production environments.
• Manage user tickets and bug reports, analyze root causes, and coordinate fixes within local team, track the issue until resolution is implemented.
• Foster continuous improvement through Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Administrators, and other teams to define requirements and propose platform enhancements.
• Provide direction to developers on configuration standards, performance optimization, and user support processes.
• Contribute to documentation in confluence, knowledge sharing, and training initiatives within the CPQ team and broader organization.
