MSpectrum, Inc. seeks a Financial Reporting Analyst (CPA) to join our accounting team in the Philippines. This full-time role focuses on preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial statements in line with PFRS and IFRS, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with multiple departments and support external audits for reliable financial data. The position emphasizes timely reporting, ongoing process improvements, and strong internal controls to support management

Qualifications

• CPA credential with an active license.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in financial accounting or reporting.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS and IFRS.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; ability to work with complex spreadsheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills; identify discrepancies.
• Solid understanding of the accounting cycle, balance sheet and financial statement prep.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Experience with external audits and audit coordination.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze financial transactions, balance sheet, and P&L to support reports.
• Document accounting adjustments with supporting audit documentation.
• Coordinate with departments to gather financial information for reporting deadlines.
• Support external audit processes with schedules and reconciliations.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and implement updates.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with budget variance analysis and provide commentary on variances.
