Job summary

The SM Store (SM Mart Inc.) is looking for a counter operations assistant to support the Counter Manager and Branch leadership in delivering excellent customer experience and operational excellence. You will ensure POS readiness, direct customer traffic, and help schedule cashiers and checkers to cover absences.

Ideal candidates have a business-related degree, at least 1 year experience in bank operations or counter-cashier roles, and knowledge of credit card transactions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in bank operations or counter-cashier roles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff are practicing customer engagement initiatives.
• Ensure completeness and usability of the POS system and its peripherals.
• Direct customer traffic to other counters to manage queuing.
• Prepare and monitor work schedule of cashiers and checkers and manage absences by reassigning staff.
