Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Costing Analyst to support costing, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis within the Finance Systems team. You will prepare costing reports, analyze manufacturing costs, and ensure data accuracy in SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, RCA or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze product costing, standard costs, and manufacturing cost reports.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory balances to ensure accurate inventory valuation and accounting records.
• Conduct variance analysis on production, labor, material, and overhead costs, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and manufacturing cost accounting.
• Prepare costing, inventory, and variance analysis reports for management and key stakeholders.
• Maintain and validate costing master data in SAP, including material masters, BOMs, routings, and cost centers.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities through cost analysis and financial projections.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial Finance, and Controllership teams to resolve costing-related concerns.
• Assist in ERP/SAP enhancements, testing activities, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls related to costing and inventory management.
