Job summary

DMCI Homes is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong cost estimation and budgeting skills to support cost management for our construction projects in the Philippines.

You will read plans, prepare budgets, perform quantity take-offs, and coordinate closely with Design and Engineering to validate costs. Fresh graduates are welcome, with opportunities for hands-on training, mentorship, and career development within a dynamic real estate development company.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledgeable in quantity take-off and cost estimation (Structural and Architectural).
• Able to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and technical details.
• Familiar with basic costing tools, analysis methods, and budget preparation.
• Able to handle at least one (1) active project under supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and coordination skills.
• Willing to learn and participate in training and professional development programs.

Responsibilities

• Generates accurate cost estimates using approved analysis tools based on design plans, specifications, and current market conditions.
• Coordinates closely with Design and Engineering (D&E) and project teams for accurate quantity take-offs and cost validation.
• Assists in the preparation, review, and issuance of project budgets and cost evaluations.
• Ensures compliance with company standards, ethical guidelines, and cost regulations.
• Performs cost deliverables in accordance with design standards and within agreed timelines.
• Supports internal stakeholders by providing timely and accurate cost information.
• Collaborates with other sections to maintain alignment on project budgets and cost-related concerns.
• Participates in trainings, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance technical competencies.
• Seeks mentorship and feedback from senior cost engineers and officers.
• Identifies opportunities to improve costing processes and contribute to potential cost-saving initiatives.
• Performs additional duties assigned by management in support of cost management and project objectives.
