Qualifications

• 2+ years cost engineering experience in construction, specifically substations, transmission lines, or renewable energy.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with cost estimation practices.
• Proficiency in estimating software and understanding substation components.

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Planning: Prepare detailed, high-precision cost estimates and detailed designs for transmission and substation projects.
• Budgeting & Control: Establish project budgets, monitor costs, and conduct monthly cost reporting.
• Procurement Support: Analyze subcontractor and material costs before awarding, and manage vendor invoices.
• Forecast & Reporting: Develop project cash flows and identify risks with potential savings.
• Site Management: Monitor progress and update cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Technical Compliance: Ensure electrical designs meet standards within budget.
