Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila in Metro Manila is seeking a Cost Control Supervisor to lead the cost control Clerk/Encoder and Storekeeper, ensuring accurate food & beverage cost accounting and expense control. Responsibilities

• Prepares daily food & beverage cost and submits for verification.

• Conducts regular month-end and year-end physical counts.
• Prepares final inventory sheets for reconciliation and posting.
• Performs monthly par stock checks to control losses and obsolescence.
• Conducts yield tests and buffet costing.
• Ensures inventory discrepancies are charged to accountable staff.
• Posts new inventory items in Business Central.
• Assists in market surveys with Purchasing Department.
• Supervises Cost Control Clerk and Storekeeper daily and monthly.

Job description

In accordance with the policies, procedure and standards of Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila (CFCM), and under the supervision of the Cost Controller, the Cost Control Supervisor is responsible for the direction of cost control clerk/encoder and storekeeper in relation to accounting of food and beverage costs and other expenses. The position is critical as it relates to the hotel's profit goal. Therefore, the Cost Control Supervisor (CCS) should have extensive knowledge in accounting systems, hotel operations esp. in F&B production, as well as strong leadership capabilities. He/she also works with other sections and departments relevant to the accomplishment of his/her responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepares daily food & beverage cost and submit to Cost Controller for final checking and verification.
• Ensures that all necessary reports like Inter-transfer, complimentary forms and others coming from
  other departments are properly charged in Business Central.
• Ensures that all reports (inventory count sheets, store requisitions, transfers, spoilage reports and the like) are complete, orderly kept and properly archived.
• Encodes Item Adjustment physical quantity with corresponding department code and proper account charging in Business Central, if any.
• Conducts spot checks and regular month-end and year-end physical inventory count.
• Prepares final inventory count sheets for reconciliation and posting to be submitted to Cost Controller
  for final checking and verifications.
• Random checks on a monthly basis on par stock level in order to control losses, spoilage, damage and obsolescence.
• Conducts yield test and buffet costing.
• Ensures that inventory discrepancies are reported and properly charged to the accountable employees
• Ensures that new inventory items are requested and posted in Business Central.
• Assists in conducting market survey together with Purchasing Department.
• Supervises Cost Control Clerk and Storekeeper to ensure propriety of their respective reports on a daily and monthly bases.
• Coordinates with Receiving Staff and A/P Supervisor to ensure all deliveries are received thru Business
• Central and are properly invoiced.
• Oversees overall Cost Control Section in the absence of Cost Controller.
• Complies with Company Policy & Procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or any related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost control or cost accounting within the hospitality or F&B industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, cost analysis, and procurement procedures.
• Proficient in MS Excel and hotel systems.
• Demonstrates attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
• With strong integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies and financial standards.
• Willingness to work in Muntinlupa City.
