J&T Cargo is seeking a cost analyst to manage and analyze distribution center costs, monitor expenses, and drive cost reduction initiatives. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of related experience, with on-site work Monday to Friday and an ASAP start.
The candidate will reconcile financial data, prepare cost reports, and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency while collaborating with multiple departments across the organization.
Collect, calculate, and maintain cost data and ledgers for the Distribution Center.
Monitor various operating expenses, including, Labor cost, Facility/site costs, Transportation costs, Consumables, Penalties and abnormal claim costs
Reconcile business and financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Conduct detailed unit cost breakdowns and analysis.
Monitor weekly and monthly cost fluctuations.
Identify the root causes of significant cost increases or variances.
Prepare regular cost analysis reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
Follow up on the implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
Monitor progress against established cost reduction targets.
Identify deviations from targets and provide timely early warnings and feedback.
Track corrective actions until proper implementation and closure.
Conduct statistical analysis of penalties and claim-related losses arising from:
Wrong sorting or mis-sorting, Lost cargo, Delayed or detained cargo, Other operational abnormalities
Analyze the causes of losses and distinguish internal and external accountability.
Coordinate with relevant departments to promote loss reduction.
Prepare operational reports covering: Unit cost, Cost reduction progress, Abnormal losses, Cost fluctuations and variances
Provide accurate and timely data to support management decision-making.
Collaborate with Operations, Scheduling, Quality, and other relevant departments.
Identify high-cost processes and recommend appropriate improvement measures.
Follow up on improvement initiatives and ensure closed-loop implementation.
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency and control costs.
Maintain statistical standards and accurate records for key operational indicators.
Monitor indicators such as: Labor efficiency, Loading rate, Abnormality rate, Unit operating cost
Other cost-related KPIs
Ensure consistency and accuracy of data used for operational and financial analysis.
Perform other cost analysis, reporting, and special statistical tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Bachelor's degree in any related courses
With at least 1 year related work experience.
Willing to work on site (Monday-Friday)
Can start ASAP.
