The Corporate Planning and Performance Management Manager supports the President and Executive Management Team in the development, monitoring, and execution of the Company's strategic priorities and growth initiatives. The position is responsible for corporate planning, performance management, strategic research, and business development activities, including the identification and evaluation of new technologies, business opportunities, investments, and expansion initiatives. The position provides analytical and strategic support to Management to facilitate informed decision-making, organizational performance improvement, and long-term value creation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development, review, and monitoring of the Company's strategic plans, corporate objectives, and growth initiatives.
- Develop and maintain the Company's performance management framework, including key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and management dashboards to monitor organizational performance.
- Monitor progress against strategic objectives and prepare periodic performance reports, analyses, and recommendations for Management.
- Conduct strategic research and analysis of industry trends, market developments, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics relevant to the Company's business.
- Monitor emerging technologies, business models, and innovation trends within the power and energy sector and assess their strategic implications and potential applications for the Company.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend new business opportunities, investments, partnerships, products, services, and market expansion initiatives that support the Company's growth and diversification objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of business cases, feasibility assessments, financial analyses, and strategic evaluations for prospective projects, technologies, and business ventures.
- Conduct strategic assessments of potential mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and other corporate development opportunities.
- Prepare strategic reports, presentations, briefing materials, and recommendations for the President, Executive Management Team, and Board of Directors.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support corporate planning, performance monitoring, strategic initiatives, and business development activities.
- Monitor emerging technologies, business models, and innovation trends within the power and energy sector and assess their strategic implications and potential applications for the Company.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend new business opportunities, investments, partnerships, products, services, and market expansion initiatives that support the Company's growth and diversification objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or related disciplines
- 5-10 years’ experience in energy economics, business development or commercial operations.
- Training in WESM, financial modeling, economic analysis, strategic planning, business valuation, statistics, or related fields.
