Job summary

XMC BPO is seeking a Legal Counsel / Corporate Lawyer to provide legal guidance on corporate, employment, regulatory, contractual, and compliance matters within a BPO environment. The role collaborates with management, HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure business activities and policies comply with Philippine laws.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, reviewing policies, advising on labor matters, managing disputes, and coordinating with external counsel and regulatory

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance to management and various departments on day-to-day business and operational concerns
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts, agreements, job offers, employment-related documents, MOAs, NDAs, and other legal documents
• Review company policies, procedures, and internal guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Advise HR on labor and employment matters, including employee relations, disciplinary cases, termination, grievances, and compliance requirements
• Assist in handling labor disputes, employee complaints, legal notices, and administrative proceedings
• Ensure compliance with applicable DOLE, SEC, BIR, data privacy, and other regulatory requirements relevant to the company's operations
• Provide legal guidance on BPO client contracts, vendor agreements, service agreements, and business transactions
• Assist in reviewing and managing client and third-party contracts, identifying legal risks and recommending appropriate actions
• Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, agreements, and other corporate legal documents
• Coordinate with external counsel, government agencies, and other legal representatives when necessary
