The Core Network and Facility Engineer is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and management of core network systems and facilities to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role involves proactive monitoring, compliance assurance, asset management, and collaboration across teams to support projects and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform operations and maintenance tasks (health checks, backups, alarm clearing, troubleshooting, restoration, preventive maintenance).
- Oversee the organization’s facilities and ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable environment.
- Support Engineering, TIER1 and TIER2 teams in projects and issue resolution.
- Update site databases using CNFM digital tools.
- Monitor and collaborate with support units on building structure, equipment layout, electrical power, and air conditioning/ventilation and ensure site facility system availability.
- Monitor network criticality and elevate threshold breaches.
- Assist the organization’s tangible assets throughout their lifecycle (acquisition, maintenance, operation, disposal).
- Assist in tracking and resolving corrective actions for findings.
- Monitor compliance with policies and procedures, document, report, and address non‑compliance.
- Identify and elevate operational concerns and improvement needs.
- Participate in project support; review TSSR (Technical Site Survey Report) and MOP (Method Of Procedure), contribute to surveys and project progress monitoring, and participate in acceptance phase.
- Participate in trainings, meetings, cascades, and coaching/mentoring sessions.
- Participate in supplementary activities (audits, orientations, etc.).
- Collaborate and coordinate with other teams for fault restorations, corrective maintenance, and project support.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Electronics Engineering (Licensed Electronics Engineers preferred).
- Open to fresh graduates with IT background (Unix, web‑based HTML, PHP, Visual Basic macro language, Python, Appsheet and DataStudio).
- Must be a resident of Carmona, Cavite or nearby municipalities/cities.
- Automation and scripting skills is a plus.
- IP / IT work experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Can work on an 8×7 schedule with on‑call duties after office hours and willing to be relocated within Cavite (Bacoor, General Trias) if the need arises.
- Required membership in a professional organization (if any).
- Knows how to drive a four‑wheel vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
