GrowthAssistant is hiring a UGC Video Editor to craft hook-driven, conversion-focused ads for paid social. You will edit raw footage into multiple ad variations with creative autonomy, using light briefs to drive rapid testing across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube formats.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years editing performance ads for DTC brands, a strong ad portfolio, and fluency in direct response principles. This is a fully remote role supporting a global client base.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience editing performance video ads for DTC brands.
• Portfolio with diverse paid ad work for DTC/ecom brands.
• Fluent in direct response with hook structure, narrative arc, and CTA design in paid UGC.

Responsibilities

• Edit UGC-style video ads for paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
• Turn raw briefs, scripts, or concepts into multiple ad variations.
• Apply direct response fundamentals to hooks, narrative arc, CTA, and pacing.
• Scan footage, select clips, structure transitions, and add text overlays and pacing without heavy direction.
• Produce multiple ad variations from a single footage set to enable rapid testing.
• Use AI creative tools to accelerate production and variation output.
• QA to catch typos, off-brief edits, and workflow errors before submission.
• Flag blockers and provide daily proactive updates.
• Iterate creative based on ad performance data.
