Job summary

B Publishing is seeking a senior product designer to own UX and UI for our mobile app. This remote role focuses on onboarding and paywall improvements to boost conversion while maintaining a clean, consistent design system.

You will collaborate with an App Manager, translate funnels into wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, and experiment with analytics data to lift performance. Prior experience with wellness or subscription apps is highly valued.

Qualifications

4+ years designing consumer mobile apps, portfolio required (subscription or wellness apps preferred).
Demonstrated onboarding/paywall conversion wins with measurable results.
Expert-level Figma proficiency.
Strong grasp of subscription app patterns (trials, paywalls, churn moments).
Comfort with analytics to inform design decisions (e.g., funnel data).
Self-directed, opinionated, proactive in proposing solutions.
Bonus: motion design, iOS/Android conventions, experience in small teams.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design for the app: user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes in Figma.
Redesign onboarding to shorten the journey and clarify value communication.
Redesign the paywall to boost subscription conversions.
Design against data: collaborate on funnel analytics and A/B tests and iterate.
Maintain a clean, consistent design system for the app.
Provide pixel-perfect specs to developers and review builds for fidelity.
Audit the app for UX debt and propose a prioritized fix list.
