Job summary

Emd Group in the Philippines seeks a senior finance professional to prepare financial reports, perform variance analysis, and deliver KPI insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, model scenarios, and support strategic decision-making.

Leading month-end and year-end closings under IFRS, mentoring junior staff, and consolidating financial statements for US/Canada government surveys. Prior experience with government surveys is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong modeling and forecasting skills.
• Experience with IFRS and consolidations.
• Experience with US/Canada government surveys is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and financial software.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably in a similar senior role.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analyzing complex financial data.
• In-depth exposure to and knowledge of financial statements.
• Preferably has experience in consolidating financial reports.
• Able to analyze new requirements for upcoming government surveys.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong business acumen and ability to interpret financial metrics within a strategic context.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Leadership skills and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
