Job summary

China Telecom Global seeks a seasoned Controllership Manager to oversee accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and tax management. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and strong governance while providing insights to guide strategic decisions.

You will lead a team, coordinate with audits, and drive continuous improvement of financial processes to safeguard assets and support business objectives in a dynamic telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA/CMA advantage.
• 7+ years in general accounting or financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GL processes.
• Fluent in English; Chinese a plus but not required.
• Experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of internal and external financial statements.
• Establish and improve internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure sound financial management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Provide financial insights and leadership to support strategic decisions.
• Participate in business planning, risk assessment, and performance improvement efforts.
• Oversee tax management activities: accrual, filing, and payments.
• Coordinate responses to tax audits and organize tax planning for compliance and optimization.
• Perform other financial management tasks as authorized by senior leadership.
