Job summary

HYOLIM INC is seeking a skilled Project Mechanical Engineer on a contract basis to lead mechanical projects from conception to completion. Based in Batino, Calamba City, Laguna, you will ensure that mechanical systems meet quality, safety and performance standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will design, analyze and document mechanical components, manage timelines and budgets, and support junior engineers in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years’ professional experience in mechanical engineering project delivery.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and oversee mechanical systems per specs and standards.
• Conduct engineering analyses and feasibility studies for cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, production and QA to ensure project execution.
• Monitor progress, timelines and budgets; report to managers.
• Perform QA/testing to verify performance criteria.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during design and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for components/services.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and production teams.
