Job summary

HYOLIM INC in Batino, Calamba City, Laguna seeks a Project Mechanical Engineer on a contract basis to oversee mechanical projects from conception to completion and ensure quality, safety and performance. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years of project delivery experience, CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and strong problem-solving and communication skills; you will liaise with design, production and suppliers to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering project delivery experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and oversee mechanical systems per specs and standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess viability and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare technical drawings, specs and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, production and QA teams for project execution.
• Monitor progress, timelines and budgets; report to managers.
• Perform QA and testing to verify performance criteria.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during design and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to procure components/services.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and production teams.
