Job summary

GAMA FOODS CORPORATION seeks a Field Poultry Operations Coordinator to perform on-site visits, ensuring optimal health and performance of poultry across Cebu City and Iloilo City. You will train farmers on house setup, chick acceptance, brooding, growing, harvesting, and meticulous record-keeping.

The role requires regular travel, hands-on farm support, and collaboration with partners to review production metrics and drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Production, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Poultry Operations is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel periodically.
• Proficient in driving with a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular farm visits to monitor health and performance of poultry and review farm management charts.
• Provide ongoing training to farms on house preparation, chick acceptance, brooding, growing, harvesting, documentation, and recording.
• Monitor scheduling of chick placement, feed delivery, medication, vaccination, and harvest to maintain a streamlined production process.
• Collaborate with partners to evaluate production performance, analyze key metrics, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct improvement-driven regular farm visits—meticulously examining farm management charts to ensure the optimal health and performance of poultry.
• Provide ongoing and comprehensive training to farms, focusing on efficient systems and processes related to: house preparation, chick acceptance, brooding, growing, harvesting, documentation, and recording.
• Monitor the scheduling of crucial activities such as: chick placement, feed delivery, medication, vaccination, and harvest—to maintain a streamlined production process.
• Collaborate with partners to conduct regular evaluations and reviews of production performance, analysing key metrics, and collaboratively devising action plans for continuous improvement.
