Qualifications

About the role

Redstone Media Group is seeking a talented Content Writer to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team. This is a full-time position based in Metro Manila, Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling, engaging, and strategically aligned content (long form articles about clients and products, blogs, ad copy, video scripts etc) across various digital and traditional platforms. As a Content Writer, you will play a crucial part in shaping our brand voice, driving audience engagement, and supporting our overall marketing objectives. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects that make a real impact on our business growth and market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, research, and write high-quality content for multiple platforms including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to understand campaign objectives and create content that aligns with brand messaging and guidelines
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform content strategy and ensure relevance and accuracy
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, tone, and adherence to brand standards before publication
• upload articles and content on our digital magazine platform and websites
• Optimise content for search engines (SEO) by incorporating relevant keywords and following best practices for discoverability
• Meet deadlines whilst managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting content to different formats and audiences
• Monitor content performance and gather insights to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness
• Maintain organised records and documentation of content calendar, briefs, and approved materials

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Content Writer, copywriter, or similar role within marketing, communications, or media industries
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create engaging, clear, and persuasive content across various formats and styles
• Strong understanding of content marketing principles, SEO best practices, and digital marketing channels
• Proficiency in researching topics thoroughly and presenting information in an accessible and compelling manner
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms
• Demonstrated ability to adapt writing tone and style for different audiences and brand voices
• Strong attention to detail with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation in English
• Preferred: Experience with social media content creation, knowledge of marketing analytics, or background in a specific industry relevant to Redstone Media Group
