About the role

This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies to increase web traffic and brand awareness, while managing all aspects of social media presence across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase web traffic and brand awareness
• Produce, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news)
• Oversee the visual and written aspects of social media accounts ensuring consistency
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor reviews and feedback
• Monitor SEO, user engagement, and suggest content optimization
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
• Address any negative comments or reviews on social media platforms to maintain a positive brand image
• Set specific objectives and report on ROI
• Manage and oversee the creation of a content calendar for timely promotions, events, or campaigns

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
• Proven experience designing and implementing social media strategies
• Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest
• Proficient in content optimization and brand consistency
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptability to stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
