Job summary

GoTyme is seeking a content creator for its social channels, focused on TikTok and short-form video. You will ideate, shoot, and edit content quickly to respond to trends and product stories.

You will translate GoTyme Bank messages into relatable, entertaining content, own end-to-end production, and collaborate with the Social Lead to hit reach, engagement, and growth KPIs. This role requires a portfolio of work and at least 3 years in social media content creation; portfolio required.

Qualifications

• Equivalent experience in social media content creation or related roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in social media content creation or a related field.
• Portfolio of work is required.
• Experience creating short-form video content for TikTok/Instagram Reels is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create social-first content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other GoTyme Bank owned social channels.
• Translate GoTyme Bank's products and campaigns into relatable, entertaining, and platform-native content.
• Monitor and identify emerging trends, formats, memes, conversations, and cultural moments.
• Develop content ideas that drive conversation, engagement, and brand familiarity.
• Take ownership of content production from conceptualization, scripting and storyboarding through shooting, editing, and delivery.
• Shoot and edit short-form videos independently using mobile-first and social editing tools.
• Create fast-turnaround content to capitalize on real-time trends and moments.
• Appear on camera when appropriate and collaborate with creators and other talent.
• Collaborate with the Social Lead and Sr. Social Media & Community Manager to align with strategy and KPIs.
• Continuously experiment with new formats and storytelling approaches.
• Review content performance and apply learnings to improve future content.

About the role

Create timely, engaging, and platform native content for GoTyme Bank's owned social channels, with a strong focus on TikTok and short-form video.

This role combines content ideation, creation, shooting, and editing to enable GoTyme Bank to respond quickly to trends, cultural moments, product stories, and everyday consumer conversations without relying on a lengthy production process.

• Conceptualize and create social-first content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other GoTyme Bank owned social channels.
• Translate GoTyme Bank's products, campaigns, and brand messages into relatable, entertaining, and platform-native content.
• Monitor and identify emerging trends, formats, memes, conversations, and cultural moments that GoTyme can participate in authentically.
• Develop content ideas that drive conversation, engagement, and brand familiarity.
• Take ownership of content production from conceptualization, scripting and storyboarding through shooting, editing, and delivery.
• Shoot and edit short-form videos independently using mobile-first and social editing tools when needed.
• Create fast-turnaround content that allows GoTyme to capitalize on real-time trends and cultural moments.
• Appear on camera when appropriate and/or work with creators, employees, and other talent to bring content to life.
• Collaborate closely with the Social Lead and Sr. Social Media & Community Manager to ensure content and video executions are aligned with the overall social strategy and contribute to key social KPIs, including reach, engagement, and audience growth.
• Continuously experiment with new formats, hooks, storytelling approaches, and creative treatments to improve audience engagement.
• Review content performance and apply learnings to improve future content.

Requirements

• Equivalent experience in social media content creation, digital content, or creative production may be considered.
• At least 3 years of experience in social media content creation, digital content, creative production, or a related role.
• Proven experience in creating short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or similar platforms.
• Experience taking content from concept through shooting, editing, and final delivery.
• Experience creating content in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround requirements.
• Portfolio of work is required.
