If you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to grow, this is an opportunity to launch a long-term career path in underwriting.
As an Underwriting Trainee in the home lending underwriting team, you will complete a structured six-month training curriculum focused on agency (conforming) or home equity underwriting, based on business assignment. You will develop foundational knowledge in credit risk, income and asset analysis, credit and collateral review, documentation standards, fair lending practices, and applicable regulatory requirements. Progression to a Credit Underwriter role is contingent on successful completion of all program requirements, including attendance, assigned learning and test cases, performance and conduct expectations, and the applicable lending authority assessment.
