Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Mexico City is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead complex development initiatives, shape architecture, and drive scalable legal tech solutions in collaboration with partners and customers.

You will mentor developers, write and review technical specs, and contribute to data modeling and performance optimization while guiding cross-functional teams through strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Based in Mexico City or willing to commute 2 days per week to Reforma office.
• Strong experience with .NET (C#) and JavaScript (Angular).
• Expertise in data modeling, optimization, and test-driven development.
• Familiarity with architectural principles and scalable system design.
• Experience working with diverse teams and external technology providers.
