Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer for a construction project based in Tayabas, Quezon, Philippines. The role centers on leading safety orientation, toolbox meetings, and maintaining essential safety records on site.

The candidate should have BSCE and at least 4 years of safety experience in construction, with accredited OSH credentials and 48 hours of advanced safety training. This on-site position requires strong documentation and permit-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• College graduate (BSCE preferably).
• At least 4 years experience in safety practice with 3 years experience in construction.
• Accredited OSH Practitioner or SO3/SO4 as per DO 198 of RA 11058.
• COSH Training Certificate.
• Additional 48 hours advance/specialized occupational safety training relevant to the industry.

Responsibilities

• Attends the daily toolbox meetings and facilitates if necessary.
• Facilitates the project's Safety Orientation Process as required.
• Safe-keeps orientation records, toolbox meetings attendance and copies of different safety permits.
• Ensures that WAS & WAT is conducted prior to all activities.
• Ensures that all high-risk activities are inspected and monitored through approved permits, checklists, and risk assessments.
