Job summary

ANRU MPC is seeking a proactive Safety Officer to lead site safety planning and enforcement at Laguna projects. You will develop site-specific safety plans, conduct daily inspections, and manage hazard assessments to protect workers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Safety, SO2/SO3 credentials preferred, and experience in construction or fit-out settings. Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication, and meticulous documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Occupational Safety or a related field.
• Accredited Safety Officer (SO2/SO3 preferred)
• Experience in construction or fit‑out projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard assessments
• Facilitate toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers
• Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Recommend corrective and preventive measures
• Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Project-in-Charge on safety planning and enforcement
• Coordinate and prepare permits with the work area administration
• Ensure emergency preparedness and response procedures are in place
• Receive and inspect delivered materials and equipment against delivery receipts and purchase orders
• Ensure proper and safe storage of materials
