Job summary

You will lead incident investigations, maintain records, coordinate with project managers, and oversee PPE use and emergency procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Occupational Safety or a related field.
• Accredited Safety Officer (SO2/SO3 preferred).
• Experience in construction or fit-out projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on safety planning and enforcement.
• Ensure emergency preparedness and response procedures are in place.
• Receive and inspect materials and equipment against documents.
