Job summary

Qualifications

  • Licensed engineer (PRC) required and 8+ years of facilities/industrial project experience.
  • Strong knowledge of PM processes: scope, cost, schedule, close-out.
  • Ability to prepare design plans, drawings, and calculations.
  • Experience with safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead facilities and plant management projects across all phases.
  • Develop scope, cost estimates, schedules, and technical specs.
  • Coordinate projects with Facilities Operations for safe execution.
  • Prepare bids/contracts and manage equipment upgrades.
  • Create design plans and construction drawings for implementation.
  • Lead coordination meetings with manufacturing, purchasing, EHS, IT, and finance.
  • Interface with PEZA, DOLE, Meralco and others for permits.
  • Oversee contractor activities, ensuring safety and timelines.
  • Manage budgets, progress billings, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare risk assessments and management recommendations.

Job Summary

The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for leading major facilities projects, including production layout improvements and infrastructure upgrades. It provides technical expertise in managing utility systems with a strong emphasis on efficiency, reliability, and long-term maintainability. The position ensures all plant equipment and utilities remain in optimal operating condition through effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs to prevent operational disruptions. It also ensures full compliance with all relevant external regulatory requirements, including PEZA, DOLE, the National Building Code of the Philippines, and Building Administration standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage facilities and plant management projects across all phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Close-Out.
  • Develop complete project documentation including Scope of Works, cost estimates, schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate engineering projects with Facilities Operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and recommend bids, contracts, and proposals for equipment upgrades and construction works.
  • Create design plans, technical calculations, and construction drawings required for project implementation.
  • Lead and Initiate project coordination meetings with internal customers which includes manufacturing stakeholders, support teams such as purchasing, finance, EHS, IT etc.
  • Facilitate, liaison (as needed) and coordinate meetings with external organizations which includes PEZA, DOLE, Meralco, LTI and other external government units for the processing/coordination of regulatory permits related to projects.
  • Oversee contractor activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, validate progress billings, handle financial reporting, and ensure accurate payment processing.
  • Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to support management decisions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; licensed engineer (PRC Board Passer required).
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in facilities engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in facilities management, engineering projects, or construction project execution.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes, including scope development, cost estimation, scheduling, and close-out procedures.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret engineering design plans, technical drawings, and calculations.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance processes for facilities and construction projects.
  • Experience in contract preparation, bid evaluation, and contractor management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
  • Proficient in project budgeting, billing review, financial tracking, and documentation management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and CAD or related design software is an advantage.
