Gomeco Metal Corporation is seeking aPurchasing professional to support procurement activities in Malinta, Valenzuela City. You will assist the purchasing manager with sourcing materials, liaising with suppliers, and handling purchase orders and related paperwork.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with a focus on timely supplier payments and process improvements within a construction-oriented purchasing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role, preferably in construction.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic procurement software.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and processes.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the purchasing manager in procuring raw materials, installation materials, equipment, and other supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and manage orders.
• Prepare purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely supplier payments.
• Support implementation of efficient purchasing processes and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing team as needed.
