Job summary

Elite Headhunting Incorporated is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer with a background in construction materials and procurement to manage purchasing activities, supplier coordination, material sourcing, inventory monitoring, and procurement documentation in Quezon City.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in purchasing or procurement, preferably in construction, with hands-on experience sourcing materials, processing POs, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, procurement or related field.
• At least 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Experience purchasing construction materials, tools or related supplies.
• Hands-on experience with PO processing, supplier canvassing, quotations and delivery monitoring.
• Knowledge of supplier billing, invoices, delivery receipts and payment processing.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with inventory or procurement systems is an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site in Quezon City; Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase construction materials, building supplies, tools, equipment, and other project requirements.
• Prepare, process, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs).
• Request and compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, availability, and delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor the timely delivery of construction materials and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of required materials.
• Review and verify supplier invoices, billings, delivery receipts, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and process payment requests and liquidation reports.
• Maintain complete and accurate purchasing and procurement records.
• Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and favorable payment/delivery terms.
• Identify alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with project, operations, warehouse, and other departments regarding material requirements.
• Ensure procurement transactions are properly documented and completed.
• Perform other purchasing and procurement duties as assigned.
