Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred.
• Extensive experience managing land development projects and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise land development construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Develop and monitor schedules, work programs, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with owners, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
• Monitor progress and prepare reports for management.
• Evaluate methods, manpower, equipment, and materials for productivity and cost efficiency.
• Ensure EHS policy compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Review shop drawings and method statements prior to implementation.
• Manage project costs, variations, and budgets; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Mentor Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Foremen, and survey teams.

Job Summary

The Construction Manager plans, directs, and oversees all land development and site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with company standards, engineering specifications, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise land development construction activities, including site clearing, earthworks, roadworks, drainage systems, and utilities installation.
• Ensure project execution complies with approved plans, technical specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, work programs, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with project owners, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies on project implementation and technical concerns.
• Monitor progress and prepare accomplishment reports, forecasts, and status updates for management.
• Evaluate construction methods, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and material requirements to maximize productivity and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and government regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Review shop drawings, construction plans, method statements, and technical documents prior to implementation.
• Monitor project costs, variations, change orders, and budget utilization, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage and mentor Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Foremen, Survey Teams, and other site personnel.
• Resolve technical, operational, and construction-related issues affecting timelines or quality.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, commissioning, and project handover requirements.
• Evaluate contractor and subcontractor performance and recommend improvements.
• Participate in project planning, coordination, and management review meetings.
• Maintain complete project documentation, including daily reports, accomplishment reports, quality and safety reports, and close-out documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• Extensive experience managing land development projects — site clearing, earthworks, roadworks, drainage, and utilities — is required.
• Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary site teams (engineers, foremen, survey personnel) on large-scale development projects.
• Strong working knowledge of construction methods, EHS regulations, and government permitting/compliance requirements for land development.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders (owners, consultants, contractors, government agencies).
• Proficient in reviewing technical documents, shop drawings, and method statements
