Job summary

Clark Outsourcing is seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bid submissions for construction projects. You will review plans, takeoffs, and specs to determine labor, material, and equipment costs, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction estimating, a strong understanding of drawings and specs, and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction estimating or related roles.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and takeoffs to prepare cost estimates.
• Experience with labor, material, equipment costs and subcontractors.
• Strong math, analytical, and spreadsheet skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specs to define scope and quantities.
• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications.
• Identify cost variables, contingencies, and risks in estimates.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors during estimate prep.
• Support bid submissions with clear cost documentation and assumptions.
