Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an EHS Officer - Construction (fixed-term 12 months) to support our construction projects in the Manila area. You will implement and enforce environmental, health, and safety standards to ensure safe work sites and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, risk assessments, coordinating with project managers and contractors, leading safety orientations and toolbox talks, investigating incidents, and maintaining safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Nursing, or related field.
Experience in EHS or safety roles within construction or property management.
Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and occupational health standards.
Ability to conduct audits, investigations, and safety training effectively.
Good communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure construction safety compliance.
Enforce EHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices across construction sites.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors on safety implementation.
Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness activities.
Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
