Job summary

Xurpaz Construction in General Santos is seeking a draftsman to support our construction projects. You will gather information through surveys, revise drawings per changes, and maintain drawing archives for project records.

The role requires CAD proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve design conflicts while meeting deadlines and contributing to accurate quantity takeoffs for estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year work experience as Draftsman in construction industry.
• Proficient in CAD and related software.
• Detail oriented and familiar with construction related codes (Building Codes, Fire Codes, etc).
• Excellent communication skills, able to solve design and drawing conflicts, strong work ethic.
• Conduct surveys to gather necessary information for drawings.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project requirements.
• Create and maintain drawing archives for projects.
• Assist in project estimates process by providing accurate details and quantity takeoffs.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiency to meet project deadlines.
