Aboitiz InfraCapital in the Philippines is seeking a Controllership Consolidation Officer to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

The role prepares intercompany eliminations, translations, and consolidation adjustments, reconciles balances, supports the external audit, and maintains the general ledger and fixed asset registers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 4–6 years consolidation and fixed assets experience.
• Experience in conglomerate structures and external audit is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS, specifically intercompany eliminations.
• Hands-on with SAP and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation across multiple entities and subsidiaries.
• Prepare intercompany eliminations entries, currency translations, and consolidation adjustments.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies with entity owners.
• Prepare stand-alone parent and consolidated financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Support management reporting with variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget/Prior Period).
• Own the month-end GL close process with accurate journal entries.
• Maintain the chart of accounts with ERP master data collaboration.
• Support external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Conduct periodic asset verifications and impairment reviews.
