Job summary

Spinneys Philippines is seeking a Confectionery Production Specialist to join our team in Makati. The role focuses on preparing and producing high-quality confectionery products, ensuring consistency, freshness, and compliance with food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on confectionery production experience and a passion for creating premium products, with the ability to follow recipes precisely and collaborate with bakery and operations teams to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in confectionery production or related bakery/pastry environment.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of confectionery preparation and production techniques.
• Knowledge of handling chocolate, fillings, coatings, decorations, or other confectionery products is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of confectionery products according to established recipes and production standards.
• Handle ingredients, equipment, and tools used in confectionery production safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper consistency, texture, flavor, appearance, and presentation of finished products.
• Follow standard recipes, production procedures, portion control, and quality specifications.
• Perform decorating, finishing, molding, tempering, or other confectionery techniques as required.
• Monitor product quality and ensure that products meet Spinneys’ standards before display or distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper organization of the production area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Properly store and handle raw materials and finished products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Monitor inventory of ingredients and report shortages or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Minimize product waste through proper preparation, portioning, and handling.
• Assist in developing or improving confectionery products and production processes when required.
• Work closely with the bakery, pastry, and operations teams to meet daily production requirements.
