A Computer Science or Information Technology faculty member is generally expected to:
Demonstrate expertise in Computer Science principles and programming.
Communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and institution.
Prepare and deliver lectures, laboratory classes, and tutorials in Computer Science subjects.
Develop course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials aligned with the curriculum.
Use effective teaching methods and educational technologies to enhance learning.
Facilitate classroom discussions, programming exercises, and hands-on laboratory activities.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science (MSCS) or Masters in Information Technology (MIST)
Relevant teaching experience in higher education
Strong background in programming, software development, and computer systems
Knowledge of curriculum development and accreditation processes
