Job summary

Kajima Philippines Inc. is seeking a CAD Operator to encode drawings for preliminary and construction phases, print shop drawings for on-site planning, and verify as-built records.

You will coordinate with project teams to ensure CAD deliverables meet project timelines and accuracy. The role requires hands-on CAD work, familiarity with KTMS.PH (IMS) procedures, and the ability to manage CAD files across construction sites in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or trade school CAD coursework completed.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CAD production and ability to communicate with project staff.

Responsibilities

• Encode preliminary design drawings, concept plans, and construction drawings.
• Print detailed shop drawings required for daily planning on site.
• Check as-built drawings against construction drawings.
• Collect and verify as-built drawings from subcontractors.
• Manage CAD files and ensure compliance with KTMS.PH (IMS) procedures.
• Complete all documented records within deadlines; perform tasks as directed.

Job description

• Encoding of preliminary design drawings & concept plans
• Encoding of construction drawings, shop drawings, construction details & actual checking of dimensions and measurements
• Encoding of as-built drawings as the construction progresses
• Printing of required detailed shop drawings necessary on day to day planning & operation in construction site
• Checking of as-built drawings against the construction drawings
• Collect & check as-built drawings submitted by sub-contractors
• Manage CAD file drawings in the computer
• Responsible in complying with KTMS.PH (IMS) procedures, work instructions of related processes based on the implemented Integrated Management System
• Completion of all KTMS.PH (IMS) documented information within the deadline, particularly with forms, checklists and/or other records necessary to the related processes, internal or external
• Any task in relation to the designation directed by Immediate Supervisor or Top Management

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Trade School graduate with extensive hands‑on schooling CAD courses
• Proficient in MS Office software especially PowerPoint & latest release Auto CAD, Sketch-up & 3D
• Familiarity & proficiency in CAD production & ability to communicate with project technical staff
• At least 1-year experience as CAD Operator in an office/construction site
