Job summary

The Gund Company is hiring for a production operator to implement fulfillment processes on thermoset composite manufacturing lines. You will operate presses, pultrusion, forming and shaping machines, set up tooling, and ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards.

The role includes manual tasks and the use of hand tools in a fast-paced shop environment. You will be responsible for batching materials, adjusting machine settings, performing in‑process inspections, and recording

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; hands-on training preferred.
Experience in manufacturing with mixing, batching or compounding equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Form molded sheets and shapes using manufacturing equipment.
Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures, and material flow.
Monitor machine operations and detect malfunctions using lights and gauges.
Review work orders and instructions for materials, procedures and settings.
Measure raw materials and die dimensions to verify sizes.
Record production data including tolerances and defects.
Inspect and maintain tooling, dies, and molds.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety standards.
