About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support client engagements involving compliance and risk programs, policies, procedures, monitoring, and training within the Australian financial services sector. Working alongside consultants and under the direction of a Senior Consultant, you’ll prepare client deliverables for review, maintain compliance registers, monitor regulatory requirements, respond to client queries, and coordinate actions arising from client meetings. You’ll also support regulatory research, training and CPD administration, review programs, and general consulting operations, with opportunities to strengthen your technical knowledge and progress towards a Consultant role.

Ideal Candidate (Must-Have Requirements)

  • Experience supporting Australian financial services licensees or credit licensees is highly regarded.

  • Excellent written English skills, with the ability to prepare clear compliance documentation, client-ready materials, and detailed professional correspondence requiring minimal review.

  • Sound research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify exceptions, and recognise matters requiring escalation.

  • Ability to manage client queries, multiple tasks, and competing deadlines across several engagements.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Familiarity with Teamwork.com and SharePoint for task management, documentation, and record-keeping.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to work under supervision, apply feedback, and progressively take ownership of assigned deliverables.

  • Flexible and proactive approach to balancing client delivery and general administrative responsibilities.

    • Apply relevant Australian financial services regulatory requirements to client circumstances under supervision.

  • Client Queries and Meeting Support

    • Respond to client queries accurately and promptly, escalating matters requiring advice to the Senior Consultant.

    • Attend client and compliance committee meetings in a supported capacity.

    • Prepare meeting packs, draft minutes, and maintain relevant documentation.

  • Training and Continuing Professional Development

    • Prepare and assemble training materials and program documentation.

    • Process CPD evidence and maintain accurate client training registers.
