Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Associate Compliance Analyst to support Customer Assurance Managers across the end-to-end review process, coordinating planning, execution and closure. You will gather audit materials, engage clients, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure timely documentation.

Strong English, organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. This role covers global audits across regions and offers opportunities to impact risk management

Responsibilities

  • Identify clients for review with local/national units and management.
  • Act as a global liaison for audits and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure documentation is complete.
  • Compile audit documentation from telemetries, contracts and analyses to assist reviews.
  • Prepare and issue audit notification letters, questionnaires and reference materials; track responses.
  • Partner with compliance managers to highlight risks and exposures.
  • Administer external audits including diary management and travel organization.
  • Oversee the compliance team's shared inbox and file inquiries.
  • Support Customer Assurance Managers through all review phases and coordinate communications.
  • Analyze reports and prepare presentable documentation for the review.

Job Description:

The Compliance Analyst provides support to the Customer Assurance Managers as part of the compliance review process, assisting in all areas from planning to execution and closure. This role supports the end‑to‑end preparation and coordination of customer compliance reviews, while maintaining accurate internal records The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage stakeholder communications while ensuring process integrity and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with local/national units and management to identify clients for review.

  • Act as a global liaison for all audits and work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the administrative work required to plan and manage the audit is complete and accurately recorded.

  • Compile Audit documentation by gathering telemetries, client contracts, and account analyses to assist the Customer Assurance Manager during reviews.

  • Be responsible for initial Client engagement, including the preparation and issuance of the Audit notification letter, questionnaires and associated reference materials. Ensuring a timely response of the required documents by effective tracking and escalation where necessary.

  • Partner with compliance managers throughout the course of a review where required, completing further analysis work to highlight compliance risks and exposures.

  • Responsible for all administration required to complete an external audit at a client including diary management, travel organization, report preparation etc.

  • Oversight of the compliance team's shared inbox, including responding and filing of enquiries.

  • Provide comprehensive support to Customer Assurance Managers throughout all phases of the review process, including coordinating communication with Customers to maintain progress and preparing additional analyses as required.

  • Complete analysis of reports creating presentable documentation to be used during the compliance review.

Scope and Impact:
  • All clients within assigned region i.e. EMEA, Americas or Asia.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to confidently engage with customers and internal stakeholders making a case from a compliance perspective, ensuring this perspective has credibility and acted upon.

  • Good analytical skills with the ability to link seemingly unrelated subjects in order to draw compliance conclusions.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task while managing a large number of stakeholders with differing priorities.

  • Interpersonal/Team Skills: Ability to work successfully in a team environment. Communicates appropriately and effectively with team members and contacts, in and outside the company.

  • Analytical and diligent experience.

  • Should have a proven track record of client engagement.

  • Educated to Degree level – but not essential

  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral
